Do not Lose the Pearl in your Hand whilst Gazing up at the Moon.

Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others.”— Cicero

Try to appreciate life, your own and others, keep a gratitude journal and give unto others. Look after yourself and your home and possessions. Look on the bright side when things go wrong. Write Thank You notes to people. Coach, counsel and encourage your family and friends. Keep a philosophy of praise instead of criticism, both toward yourself and others. If you need a reason to live just do things for your own sake and for others sakes.

Search for a cause outside of yourself to care about, whether it be via your church or community centre there are always people in need. From the environment, to homelessness, or third word starvation, there must be something out there that is worthy of your charity, and that will help you see the bigger picture.

You cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought. Try to replace your worries and concerns with healing affirmations. Say grace or bon appetit or something before meals; Infuse the water you drink with positive vibes; Talk to your plants; Sing! Bath your dog; Do some baking ; Get a day to a page diary and try to fill it in every night, using the rule that you can only write from a positive perspective.

As a guideline on a daily basis, exercise for an hour, do about an hour of housework, and focus on achieving something at work for a set amount of hours. See:

Exercise
Clean up.
Work. (Or Study).

Too easy!

Have you got a cushion to meditate on, well great, be thankful for that. A body to exercise in, well you can definitely be grateful for that, and the fitter you get, the more your body will thank you back. Got a house to clean, well at least you have somewhere to live. And a clean house makes for a clearer mind, and is more asthetically pleasing. Work ethic is beyond the scope of this post, but if you have a job, you can be grateful for that, and if not, meanwhile, try to make some work for yourself, that won't hurt, hard work breeds prosperity, and then you will have even more to be grateful for! If you are at university, you can definitely be grateful for that, you are about to become one of the 6.7 percent of people in the world that hold a university degree. How about that?

“Gratitude opens the door to the power, the wisdom, the creativity of the universe. You open the door through gratitude.”— Deepak Chopra

Then, just chill out, do a crossword or colour-in, watch a show. Relax. Give yourself a pat on the back. It's a miracle that we are here at all. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Laugh, have fun, smile more, be grateful 😀

Create Your Day.

Photo by  Sedki Alimam  on  Unsplash This article is about the power of intention. Intentions are like a seed, that we sow and, later reap. Say that we set our intention, to enjoy our day. So you say to yourself, I intend to enjoy my day. I might later on do this, or that because it will help me to enjoy my day. Or, I might work in the cafe today, because it is nice weather and the time will pass by pleasantly. Or something more specific, I would really enjoy to have lunch with friends, so I arrange that. I intend for the conversation to go well, and all of us have a great time, and we do. Then, maybe a week later, I do like to dance for my exercise but I also like the luxury of the gym, it's just something that I like, so I think I will spend one evening at the gym this week. So Yay! Then suddenly I am quantum leaping, from one enjoyment to another, reaping what I sowed. And this is such a learning experience, because I am experiencing my own power, a...
