Create Your Day.

This article is about the power of intention. Intentions are like a seed, that we sow and, later reap. Say that we set our intention, to enjoy our day. So you say to yourself, I intend to enjoy my day. I might later on do this, or that because it will help me to enjoy my day. Or, I might work in the cafe today, because it is nice weather and the time will pass by pleasantly. Or something more specific, I would really enjoy to have lunch with friends, so I arrange that. I intend for the conversation to go well, and all of us have a great time, and we do. Then, maybe a week later, I do like to dance for my exercise but I also like the luxury of the gym, it's just something that I like, so I think I will spend one evening at the gym this week. So Yay! Then suddenly I am quantum leaping, from one enjoyment to another, reaping what I sowed. And this is such a learning experience, because I am experiencing my own power, and it's amazing.

So you see that intentions can help you to understand your own power. As well as having intentions you need be grateful for what you have and what comes to you. We all know of incidents where it seems that we have a coincidence with our minds in reality. Without being able ever to fully comprehend this phenomenon, we can work with it for our own benefit by using the power of intention.

Try to make your intentions wholistic and incorporating your mind body and spirit.

Think of it this way:

‘Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it and it will be yours’  Jesus.

Or this:

‘All that we are is a result of what we have thought, the mind is everything, what we think we will become’ Buddha.

Even physicists are stating that observations may be influenced somewhat, by the observer. People have apparently influenced the molecular structure of water, and grown healthy plants, by treating them with kind intentions.

Or, just ask an Angel!

At times you should turn your mind inwards and take stock of your mental state. Try sitting down and be quiet and centred. State your intention that you are making; know the reasons for your intention; visualise it, and once you have decided upon it, release your intention, into the universe, just let-it-go. Just have faith in it.

One mainstay of psychology is fearlessness. Just be brave, have courage no matter what. Fear not, for the Lord is with you. Our wishes will not come from a spirit of fear, but a spirit of courage. Courage is the father of all virtue. So you can set an intention to be brave in all situations. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger.

As seen in The Secret, you can create your day, just set your intentions clearly and trust. Try to make sure your intentions are aligned with your authentic self. So you are perhaps meditating, feeling your core, what your gut feeling is, that you are honest and are acknowledging your deepest desire. Then set your intention. Remind yourself of it, from day to day, time to time, tweak it as necessary, and repeat the process say, daily, weekly, or every month.

You can also set intentions as a team, so we decide something together, that we intend to get the most out of the meeting, that every idea will be considered, we are going to take somethingnew and constructive away with us, here we will come up with a brilliant plan for the project! So we do, it's like we have this diamond, and we're polishing it. We're each contributing to each facet, and building upon our ideas, we are focused on our common intention, now we have the power of intention and people power too, surely we can get a lot done this way.

Remember, As you sow, so ye shall reap'

I hope I have been able to communicate this almost magical technique to you, that it helps you find your way upon the road less travelled, that you can enjoy the journey, and it helps you to experience joy, everyday.
