Activity is often the cure for things like depression, avolition and apathy. Procrastination is the thief of time. Keeping occupied helps you to achieve more and can expand your sense of self. So let's get over the inertia and get going.
'Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving'.- Albert Einstein
'One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself'. - Lucille Ball.
Keep active and stay busy. Be present and engaged in everything you do. Exercise you body everyday. Inertia and rumination are a sure-fire recipe for feeling unhappy, you wallow in your thoughts and can't find anything to cheer you up.
'Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy'. - Dale Carnegie
You can still take time to meditate and to think but just don't turn into Hamlet.
'Thus conscience does make cowards of us all; And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprises of great pith and moment With this regard their currents turn awry, And lose the name of action'. - Shakespeare's Hamlet.
Keeping busy wakes you up. It is a great way to get beyond doubts and worries and be more productive. And it adds unto itself. You'll find more and more to do and discover more about yourself as you go.
Keeping busy is an easy principle you can incorporate into your life, right now, and within days you should feel a whole lot better than before. In weeks or months you will have done a 180° turn-around. Your life will be changed!
